This map shows Palo Pinto County, est. 1856. The county seat of Palo Pinto is shown at center, just northwest of a tight bend in the Brazos River. The Texas & Pacific Railroad runs through the southern portion of the county. Palo Pinto county is bordered by Young, Jack, Parker, Hood, Erath, Eastland, and Stephens counties.
