This map shows Scurry County, est. 1876. The county seat of Snyder is shown at center, on the Pecos & North Texas Railroad. The town lies at the end of a branch of the Missouri, Kansas & Texas Railroad. The county is bordered by Kent, Fisher, Mitchell, Howard, Borden, and Garza counties.
