There are three beautiful elements seen in this print; the Tycho Brahe Theory, the Ptolemaic Theory (earth as center of the universe) and the Copernican Theory (sun as center of the universe). Additional information is included to represent the movement of the tides in relation to the moon, the movement on the earth around the sun, and the light of the moon by the sun.
In the center of the two circles, you can see his key for the different magnitudes of the stars, an essential element for understanding the relations and identification of stars/constellations.
