Novissima Regnorum Portugalliæ et Algarbiæ Descriptio Auctore Theodorum Danckerts Amstelodami cum Privilegio Ordinum Hollandiæ et Westfrisiæ.

"Newest Description of the Kingdoms of Portugal and Algarbia. Author Theodorus Danckerts in Amsterdam with Privilege of the States of Holland and West Frisia."

The 17th century saw the Danckerts family flourish in Amsterdam as map sellers and publishers. Theodorus Danckerts, born in 1663, was the grandson of the company's founder, Cornelius Danckerts. Together with his father Justus, Theodorus produced several atlases between 1680 and 1700. These atlases, initially created with their own engraved plates, were eventually sold to R. & J. Ottens who then published them under his own name. Theodorus Danckerts passed away in 1727.
