Depicts prominent roads and the area surrounding Manhattan to include the boroughs of Brooklyn, Queens, The Bronx. Shows Staten Island and extends to Nassau County in the east, Westchester in the north, the Long Island Sound to Oak Neck Point, and a large part of northeastern New Jersey including Hudson County and parts of Bergen, Essex, Passaic, and Middlesex counties.
Useful to locals and tourists alike, the map shows all the major roadways as well as ferries, tunnels, railroads, and bridges, existing and proposed. The waterways are filled with tugboats, pleasure craft, ferry boats, ocean going vessels and tall ships. Shows the “Spirit of St. Louis” in flight above New Jersey, capturing the excitement of Lindbergh’s world record solo trans-Atlantic crossing of 1927.
