Guadaloupe, one of the Caribee Islands in the West Indies from the latest Discovery.

Map of Guadeloupe, a French overseas territory in the Caribbean consisting of a grouping of two larger and many smaller islands. Produced by British cartographer John Gibson for the London publication Gentleman's Magazine and Historical Chronicle, the map includes labels of the islands' topographic features and a compass rose. Longitude is marked in degrees west from the Ferro Meridian (meridian running through El Hierro, westernmost of Spain's Canary Islands) and scale is in English Statute Miles.
