This map shows Jack County, est. 1856. The county seat of Jacksboro is shown at the center, near the junction of the Gulf, Texas & Western and Chicago, Rock Island & Gulf Railroads. Jack County is bordered by Clay, Montague, Wise, Parker, Palo Pinto, Young, and Archer counties.
