This map shows McMullen County, est. 1858. The county seat of Tilden is shown in the north central part of the county, near the confluence of the Frio River and Leoncito Creek. The county is bisected diagonally by the Nueces River, and is surrounded by Live Oak, Duval, Webb, La Salle, Frio, and Atascosa counties.
